This limited-time campaign offers customers who have cancelled their PlayOnline accounts new registration codes for PlayOnline and FINAL FANTASY XI free of charge, and also reactivates the FINAL FANTASY XI characters that they were using prior to cancellation, so that they can resume play immediately!

Campaign Period (for Part I)
Applications will be accepted
from April 14th, 2005 to July 13th, 2005.
- Part I of the Return Home to Vana'diel Campaign is aimed at customers who have cancelled their PlayOnline accounts, and furthermore are unable to resume use of PlayOnline and FINAL FANTASY XI services through the regular reactivation process.
Customers who are able to use the regular reactivation process are asked to do so through the PlayOnline Viewer. - For those users who have cancelled their FINAL FANTASY Content IDs but not their PlayOnline membership, we ask that you wait for Part II of the Return Home to Vana'diel Campaign, coming soon.
- Applications for Part II are tentatively scheduled to be accepted from June 7th, 2005 to July 13th, 2005.
Eligibility
The Return Home to Vana'diel Campaign is aimed at former PlayOnline members whose registration data has been deleted, and therefore are no longer able to access PlayOnline services.
Applicants must fufill the following requirements to be eligible for the campaign:
- The applicant is a former PlayOnline member (i.e. the person whose name was registered) who played FINAL FANTASY XI before cancelling the account.
Applicants will be ineligible for the campaign if any of the following apply:
- The applicant has personally deleted his/her FINAL FANTASY XI character and has not cancelled his/her PlayOnline account.
- The applicant has cancelled his/her PlayOnline account, but has never purchased a FINAL FANTASY XI Content ID.
- The applicant had his/her PlayOnline membership revoked due to violations of the "PlayOnline Member Agreement," "FINAL FANTASY XI Software License Agreement," and/or "FINAL FANTASY XI User Agreement."
- The applicant is eligible to have his/her character reactivated through the Information Center.

Return Home to Vana'diel Q&A
Please note the following:
- Applications cannot be accepted during PlayOnline/FINAL FANTASY XI maintenance.
- Due to a high volume of responses, the application page may be difficult to access at the beginning and end of the campaign period.
- The first reactivated FINAL FANTASY XI character will be free of charge for 30 days starting from the day the application process is completed. However, all additional characters beyond the first will incur a monthly charge of $1.00, and payment will be due on the following month.
- After the first month of reactivation, the first character will incur a monthly charge of $12.95, and all additional characters will incur a monthly charge of $1.00 each.
- Customer support is unable to field questions regarding eligibility. Please confirm your eligibility by completing the application process.
