Included in this zip file are two files, LineageII.exe and Read Me.txt. You can create a Public Test Server client by following the steps below:

1. Make a copy of your live client to your hard drive. You can give this copy any name. We will use "Lineage II Test Client" as the default installation directory for instruction purposes.

2. Now copy the LineageII.exe into the "Lineage II Test Client" directory. When you are prompted to replace the original file, select yes.


The client is now ready for use with the Public Test Server. To launch the game, run LineageII.exe in the "Lineage II Test Client" folder and login with your normal username and password.

You can create a shortcut by holding down your right mouse button on LineageII.exe and dragging it to your desktop. Once the icon is over your desktop, let go of the right mouse button and select "Create Shortcuts Here" in the drop-down menu. The Public Test Server client can always be run from that shortcut.
