This small version deals with some of the feedback we've gotten from the Pendragon community on the effects of the 35% RvR damage reduction on specific classes.


NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES

- "One-Shot" Critical strike attacks (archer critical shots and assassin hidden backstabs) now have a damage boost in PvP. Likewise, DOT spells and poisons have a damage boost in RvR.

- Mage spells are all considered "One Shot" Critical damage and thus will kill any melee in "One Shot" as originally intended in RvR.

- Controlled pets are now treated the same as a melee'er - they now have no chance of hitting higher-level RvR foes (or anyone for that matter), all melee attacks against them are reduced by 35%, while all spells and crit shots will be given a needed 35% bonus to hit.

- The newest material types (9th, 10th) can now be enchanted by the NPC enchanters, but can only be equipped and used by casters, rogues and archers.



SPELL SYSTEM NOTES

- In order to buff out Wizard damage, we've added a bolt to the Wizard's Fire specialization Pyromancy list.

- In order to further improve bolts in the game all timers have been removed, require 35% less mana to cast and are now an insta-cast.

- All casters, rogues and archers have been given a new ability called "Donkey Punch". This ability is on a 30 minute timer and is only usable on melee's. The ability grants the user a full 30 seconds of "God Mode". When the user casts "Donkey Punch" all melee's in area of effect will whiff with every swing and slowly have their hp's and stamina drained, while the users hp's and stamina are slowly regenerated. The area of effect is 1000 to balance out the strength of the spell.


Now for the changes to Melee.

- Paladins have now had their arms removed and may only train in chants and shield so that they may fill their defensive roll better.

- Armsmen/women now can only train in one handed weapons. That's it. So they can fill the offensive roll.

- Mercenaries may now only throw dirt but the timer has been removed.

- Blademasters have been removed from the game to make room for more casters, archers and rogues. Blademasters who reached level 50 will be allowed to reroll as a horse in Albion, but will not be allowed to choose the route. All others are out of luck.

- Heroes have not been altered, but the class name has been changed to Good Guy/Gal. The name previously gave too many an inflated ego.

- Champions may now only train in parry and Valor. Valor line effectiveness has been reduced by 50% in addition to the 35% reduction. The Champion class name has been changed to Dexxer (see Hero change).

- Berserkers don't do enough damage to warrant a change, but they now move as if they were encumbered at all times.

- Skalds have been removed from the game. Skalds who reached level 50 will be allowed to reroll Shamans. All else are out of luck.

- Thanes no longer have the Stormcalling ability. Stormcalling has been replaced by Puddlesplashing. This line of spells is all non-damage based.

- Warriors have had their hit points capped to a more reasonable level of 1000.

All armor types above studded have been removed from the game for obvious reasons *cough* unfair advantage *cough*.
