No myślę pomiędzy HTC Desire a Galaxy S, jak trafiam na fora to i jedni i drudzy spuszczają się, że zajebiste, w testach też wypadają fajnie, cenowo to samo także eeeeeee .:<

CPU/GPU: Faster on the Galaxy (GPU is claimed to be up to 3x faster)
Screen: Flat out win for the galaxy, no comparison of 4" SAMOLED to 3.7" Amoled, multitouch is also better on the Galaxy (supports up to 16 touches) and the galaxy has gorilla glass
Video: Galaxy = 720p, to my knowledge the desire does 480, possibly 720 with update/hack?
Vid Output: Galaxy= HDMI, Composite, DLNA, Desire = none, maybe composite through 3.5mm jack?
Keyboard: Swype>Sense Keybo
Front Cam: Galaxy=Yes, Desire=No
Storage: Galaxy=16GB, Desire=0.5GB

The Desire having 2.2 is not really a plus as the Galaxy is getting it next month and unofficial roms are already out.

The main positives on the Desire are the Trackpad, the Notification LED and the camera flash. A couple of these are a matter of taste and I'm quite happy without them for the following reasons:
-Trackpad just duplicates what you can already do with the touchscreen, somewhat useful for text editing but Swype has a D-Pad you can use for that.
-Notification LED was not missed by me as I've never owned a phone with one. I keep my phone in my pocket, if it vibrates, I check it... If you really need one just install NOLED for your galaxy, it provides even more functionality than an led.
-Camera flash: Let's be honest. If you've ever tried to take a picture with a cameraphone with an led flash you know it really doesn't help that much anyways, it's more useful as a flashlight than anything. Plus the night mode works very well on the Galaxy, you can find numerous samples on these forums. I'd be willing to put the Galaxy in night mode head to head with the Desire + flash any day and I'm quite confident you would not notice the difference.

As for the build quality, the Galaxy may be plastic but it is certainly not cheap. The phone screams quality when you feel how light and thin it is, it does not flex, bend, creak or feel cheap in any way. The backcover is thin yes, but most are nowadays and a replacement is 20 bucks. I've had mine off many times and have had no problems with it.

The GPS issues I've found to be a bit overstated and mostly only apply to the US models. A lot of people forget that the aGPS is disabled by default and of course make angry posts before researching/checking. I bought my Canadian model on launch day, am running original firmware and my GPS works perfectly, better than other android phones I have compared it to. They are mostly fixed/being fixed for the US models as well.

After these stats it comes down to personal taste for the design. A lot of Android fans are turned off by how much the Galaxy looks like a 3GS. I got over it and have never looked back, there's also the US models which look more like Android devices. I know I was sold on the Desire when it was first announced but Samsung quickly changed my mind after I compared the two.

Zamówiłem Galaxy i utwardzaną obudowę.

Ok, Motorola Milestone jak na razie jest po prostu rewelacyjna.

Śmiga aż dymi, nie widzę sensu rootować ją w tym momencie.

Nie wiem czego ludzie chcą od tej klawiaturki, moje koślawe paluchy sobie z nią radzą. :/ No może poza top przyciskami gdzie czasami się nie mieszczą he he.
