Matrix, at the head of a two hundred strong Elmo zerg, rolls up to a base held by the New Conglomorate. He's got Pounders he's got Prowlers he's got the works. The biggest Zerg you ever saw.
A lone NC soldier walks out of the front gate and looks at the army.
"That all you brought?" he /tells Matrix.
Matrix doesn't like the cut of this Smurf's gib. So he summons on of his Squad Leaders.
"n00bz0r, take your ten men and kill that Smurf," he says.
"k" replies the Squad Leader. He leads his men towards the Smurf, who turns and runs into the base out of sight.
The squad marches in through the open gate.
Outside the sound of weapons fire is heard for a few moments. Then silence.
After a short pause the NC soldier reappears.
/tell Matrix "That all you got bitch?"
Matrix is incensed. He summons the commander of his largest outfit.
"n00bz0r2, take your troops and your tanks and you hammer that little bastard!"
"k m8" replies the outfit commander. He assembles his squads of Pounder MAX units and Prowlers. As he does this the Smurf infantryman ducks back into the base again.
The outfit rolls in. Heavy weapons blazing. There is utter carnage. Outside the base Matrix can hear all the happy sounds of a Republic Zerg in action. The battle rages for a full half an hour. Then there is silence once again.
Suddenly a battered, bleeding TR trooper drags himself out of the doorway to the base. He's riddled with bullet holes and is not long for this world. He drags with agonising slowness over the dirt until he is laying in a heap at the feet of his commanding officer.
"What the hell happened?" asks Matrix.
"It was a trap..." gasps the wounded trooper with his dying breath, " There's two of them."
