Growing Tree Cuttings into Tree Saplings:
Plant tree cuttings on icesday in a Brass flowerpot, wait 2-3 earth weeks.
ara... so long. -.-;;
Price: 10,000 gils for 1 Tree Sapling
110,000 to 120,000 gils for 12 Tree Saplings
Platinum Nuggets:
- Plant tree cuttings as mentioned above in Brass flowerpot on Icesday
- Feed tree cuttings one light crystal on lightsday
- Wait 2-3 earth weeks and watch growth carefully
Most likely result - Platinum Nuggets, about 30,000 to 60,000 gils depending on the AH
Least likely result - Rock salt... o.O
Elemental Ores: (the real money maker)
- Plant Tree saplings in a Porcelain flowerpot on Darksday (day sapling is strongest on)
and do the following to get a certain ore:
Ice Ore
= feed 1 Ice crystal to sapling on each of 2 Icesday over a period of
2 Vana'diel weeks
= follow growth carefully until they are ready to harvest
(usually 2 weeks)
Fire Ore
= feed 1 Fire crystal to sapling on each of 2 Firesday over a period of
2 Vana'diel weeks
= follow growth carefully until they are ready to harvest
(usually 2 weeks)
Wind Ore
= feed 1 Wind crystal to sapling on each of 2 Windsday over a period of
2 Vana'diel weeks
= follow growth carefully until they are ready to harvest
(usually 2 weeks)
Earth Ore
= feed 1 Earth crystal to sapling on each of 2 Earthsday over a period of
2 Vana'diel weeks
= follow growth carefully until they are ready to harvest
(usually 2 weeks)
Lightning Ore
= feed 1 Lightning crystal to sapling on each of 2 Lightningsday over a
period of 2 Vana'diel weeks
= follow growth carefully until they are ready to harvest
(usually 2 weeks)
Same rule applies for attaining Dark and Light ore.
Genearal rule:
Sapling + 2 elemental crystals of the same type = elemental ore
one elemental crystal must be fed on each of the 2 of that
elemental's day (ie.-1 fire crystal on each of the 2 Firesday)
Price: Elemental ores on the Jeuno AH sell for anywhere between
100,000 to 400,000+ gils each o.o *blinks*
Porcelain pots are necessary to get a greater chance of growing these ores.
On random, as gardening always is, you might get a colored rock, more crystals, or
nothing as all.
Growing Adaman ore from Cactus Cuttings:
Plant Cactus Cuttings in a Porcelain pot on lightsday and feed 1 Light crystal.
Monitor growth until it is ready to harvest.
Most likely result: Adaman ore, about 120,000 to 150,000 gils on Jeuno AH
Least likely result: rock salt (again), light ore, light crystals, or nothing at all
