Kilka rad:
*Stun* I can't stress this enough, you must STUN Nightmare and only Nightmare. You MUST also time and abide by your time/place in the Stun order. Only plausable win atm is with 3 stunners, we tried hasting the 2 stunners but got caught with about 3-4sec b4 stun was rdy for 3rd nightmares. 3 Stunners, get it? got it? good.
*DO NOT DoT* Guess what, big bad "D" CAN be slept (granted your skill lvl is sufficient). If you can nail a Sleep2 (1 if your desperate) at beginning you can enfeeble the sh*t out of him and give tank time for 2nd voke for more hate. This is also a possible solution for lack of 3rd stunner as Sleep is technically a stall/stun even if for a second.
*BLMs: DO NOT CAST AM* Sadly this takes too long and you might miss your Nightmare Stun turn, and "D" likes to have random resists, so 300+mp for 12dmg wouldnt be good. And if you miss your stun turn, high chance of loss, even higher chance of bitter PT.
*SAMURAIs: YOU ARE USEFUL!* Yes they are, you can go two possible ways, as a stunner or heavy DD. GK for Tachi:Hobaku to aid in stunning those damn Nightmares or if you have access to it, sub war or nin and deal some heavy DD Spirits Within Style, good SAM's can do 5-6 in sequence for a sh*tload of dmg.
*WHM's: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED* |Really?| Yes, this isn't a joke. Cure V is awesome for post 2hr and Curaga 4 for Nightmares that slip by with a DS Erasega. And hell, the WHM may even get the chance to use a Benediction XD.
*RDM/DRK is good BUT NOT a must* I recommend 3 jobs that have stunning capabilities. RDM/DRK is awesome b/c of fast cast and chainspelling. However 2 rdm/drk's have reported that a lot of they're chainspell stun's were resisted. But it never hurts to have refresh and backup cures.
*BRD's always a plus* Raise that resist sleep! Wooo! Plus other buffs like ballad and such. Still unsure if they have a Dark Carol to raise dark rez. Yes BRD rare but very good.
*SMN Burn |No thanks.|* Why? Because our lovely lil avatar pals get slept VERY easily and a slept avatar is a useless avatar and "D" is very smart and will sleep/nightmare them and come straight for your head.
*THF's: YOU ARE USEFUL* Anyone that says otherwise needs to grow up. One setup I heard had WAR/NIN DRK/THF and THF/NIN for melee. DRK sAtA'd onto thf then THF made SC that mages went to town on but THF had lots of hate. OH NO's! Pfft, remember Perfect Dodge? You got a free tank for 30seconds and can give main tank a breather while DRK sets up to SATA on tank. This would be very good idea for 2hr since everyone will have low HP and THF will dodge all melee attacks (dont forget "D" has BPs that are magic, duh, so THF will need to snag a cure during shadow eating).
*DRG's: YOU HAVE A USE* "With great power, comes great responsability." You have a new 2hr, and if you read your details drooling like I know you did then you know that you can erase half enmity on anyone behind you in the mobs view, so if that WHM 2hr's or uses a big cure, make sure you 2hr and Super Jump in front of WHM quickly. Timing is of the essence but you ARE useful if skilled.
*Pre-TP is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED* Shell out that 150k for an Opo-opo neckpiece and 30k/stack of sleep pots (least on Seraph). Have any melee you have use pots to at least 100% but 300% is always the best. PLD with 300%tp Spirits Within can take about 12% of "D"'s HP. A WAR/NIN can also deal some hefty % dmg with 300% rampage and so forth. Thats a good chunk of hp taken off the bat.
