Few things before i start writting the strategy Proto-Ultima is abt 5 times harder than Proto-Omega and to win the fight mages need to know what attack does what(it would be good to memorize attacks, or just have them near screen on written on a paper so u can react fast), Reraise gorget/hairpin prolly a fresh one is the key to victory everyone needs to have it its not a joke last time i died abt 6 times and everyone died minimum once+ultima dispels everything but abt on the last 40% everyone needs to have rr up all the time.

As for this setup if somene isnt on the list then he may still go on a normall run(i need to ask other group abt that depending on the answear from them will c if the say no then everyone not on the list above has a free day from limbus but it would be nice if he showed up for the run as a emergency replacment).
Strategy:
Ultima attacks(this fight compared to omega will be 3-4 times harder and longer):
Phase 1 (100~80% HP):
Antimatter: Single-target ranged (Light?) damage (~700-1500), ignores Utsusemi (This attack can 1shot kill tank it would be good to keep the tank at 100% hp and try to stun it)
Wire Cutter: Single-target damage (~500-1000), absorbed by 2 Utsusemi shadows
Chemical Bomb: directional Attack Slow + Elegy, remove with two Erase
Phase 2 (80~60% HP):
All above and:
Dissipation: AoE Dispel all buffs, adds Terror (stun after this as soon as posible and if it removed ur reraise recast reuse ur hairpin/gorget)
Nuclear Waste: AoE lower all elemental resistances -50, followed by one of:
Smoke Discharger: directional Attack Earth damage (~700) and Petrification
Hydro Canon: directional Attack Water damage (~700) and 40hp/tick Poison
Cryojet: directional Attack Ice damage (~700) and Paralyze
Turbofan: directional Attack Wind damage (~700) and Silence
Flame Thrower: directional Attack Fire damage (~700) and Plague
High-Tension Discharger: directional Attack Thunder damage (~700) and Stun
Phase 3 (60~40% HP):
Antimatter, Dissipation, Nuclear Waste, plus:
Equalizer: AoE damage (~600-800), absorbed by Utsusemi
Holy II (spell): Single-target Light damage (~800) cast after each TP attack, often on a mage rather than the tank.
Phase 4 (40~20% HP)
Antimatter, Dissipation, Equalizer, Holy II, plus:
Energy Screen: Invincible effect (lasts 1 minute)
Mana Screen: Magic Shield effect (lasts 1 minute)
Armor Buster: Targeted AoE (Light?) damage (~700) and Gravity, ignores Utsusemi (This attack has a long range and if we unprepared it can kill few ppl it would be the best to keep hp at full)
Phase 5 (20~0% HP)
Energy Screen, Mana Screen, Holy II, plus:
Citadel Buster: 30 second countdown, followed by extreme targeted AoE (Light?) damage (~900-1700), ignores Utsusemi
Every mage(WHM, RDM, BLM, BRD, DRK) should learn all those orange attacks made by ultima and if what they do so they can cast fast (stun, paralyna, silena, etc...). If u dont like to learn just writte that info on a spare pice of paper and keep it close to the screen or stick it to monitor frame. U can ask what for do that its simple to cast a status cure before it even lands on the tank i know i ask to much but this fight is really hard and wining it will depend mostly on tanks... keeping mp high is one of the basics but u need to be able to tell when to u can rest and when not...
For everyone: have all the time reraise up thats concerns everyone without exeptions. Having a fresh reraise gorget/hairpin is one thing everyone should have even whms so they dont waste mp on reraise spell. I wouldnt even bother to unequiping the gorget/hairpin (if someone dies and didnt had rr up he should say it as fast as posible).
If u use /party macros i will say to to add additional / before it so u wont spam the log and c important infos and macros.
To additionaly c everything better please change in game Menu>Config>Chat Filters>Party to Hold so everything said on PT chat will stop for few sec and u will be able to read everything. Everyone with Stun should have Tells on hold.
I will ask everyone before entering to unequip linkpearl so he can focus only on the fight.
For Stuners: i would say we make a stun order like before but insted of /p Stun just ued it next <name> <call> every stuner in the stun order should have a macro like this: /t <name of the next one stuning> Just used stun ur turn.
This will help with other info on /p chat like skillchains... it will reduce the spam greatly.
For everyone that will be weakend(we cant win this fight without deaths): if u get weakend just move outside the room so u wont be killed again by AoE, recast rr and wait for weakness to wear.If u a stuner and u weakend u need to press the macro indicating u used stun as soon as u get a tell and the one who using after u should be wise enogh to tell u cant use cause u weakend. Just a sugestions for all melees if u weakend u can insted of siting sleep urself to gain TP i know it will be additional expense to get more sleeping pots but this is a sugestion.
For melees: if u not one of the tanks and u get hit by a AoE and u get below 50% hp try to get outside the range of AoE and wait till u get cured. Dont fight ultima from the front cause of the directional attacks try to stay from the side or from the back if u have /thf and u want to SATA the tank then only move behind the tank on SATA and then move back so u wont get hit by directional attacks. Decide on a skillchain before weenter and make macros for that so the BLM will c when to nuke. Someone will indicate later in the fight what to ultima is imune now (melee or magic dmg) so if its melee then disengage and wait till the melee imunitty wears probably one of the tanks will say u can attack again but will c.
RDMs: like allways keeping refresh
Me i will keep refresh, and haste on both tanks so whms can conentrate only on curing statuses and healing tanks, i will help with status cures and healing too.
Kalcia refresh and haste dds it should be made clear with the whm who haste who, and cure status help and sometimes heal depending on the whms mp.
Bluntz refresh all blms in addition stun sometimes and keep ultima debuffed (paralyze, slow, blind etc evrything that sticks dont know what from those) and look when the debuff wear and recast it. Nuke with spare mp only.
Concerning every rdm keeping stoneskin and blink most the time, gravity only when we kite ultima so wont build resistance to gravity. Try not to die cause we are esential for refreshing mages jobs.
WHMs:
Espeon+(will c who will go here i will change it soon): curing the status effect as soon as u c the attack in the log it will help a lot i dont want woders, keeping track on what the tank says cause sometimes u wont c the status effects in log so u need react fast when the tank says hes paralyzed or something. Keeping tanks allways at 100%. Dont waste mp on haste and keep in mind that ultima is light based mob so u wont do much dmg with holy banish etc only a waste of mp i would say just keep Dia II stick cause it lowers def by 10%. Dont use flash.
Murzade only haste cure statuses and heal conserve mp(u have only one refresh and mp is the key to keep ppl alive so u need to keep low on hate in case u will need to use curaga) so nothing unusfull no debuffs no nuking with banish or holy.
For every WHM: keep stoneskin and blink most the time up.
BLMs:
For every BLM keep stunstoneskin and blink up one of the BLMs should keep elemental debufs and Bio II stick to ultima all the time and nuke. From what i have read abt this battle every magic attack do only 50% the normal dmg u do. As above stunorder on /tells so it wont spam chat log.
BRD:
Taruhealingwind: like on omega 2xmambo on tanks and ballads on mages additional Threnody and Elegy on the ultima sometimes cure status effect and heal.
PLD:
Bobbydigital: i would say at the first stage of the fight should help with cures. Only tank Ultima if (NIN/WARs and WAR/NINs are dead or weakend. Cause hes in BLM PT again u can cover a BLM if he gets too caried away and gets hate from ultima but u need to do that fast. If it comes to tanking probably till we get ultima to 20% wont happen but u never knows and should be ready if somethings happen on the way from 100-80% ultimas hp. If it will go to tanking u will need to kite ultima then runing in small circles not runing in mages and try to keep it facing away from mages staraight tanking whit PLD is straing on the WHMs mp so we should keep it to minimum. At 20% probably the situation when every nin and war is dead and weakend will happen so then u will need to tank below i will writte the info concerning that. U can prolly DD on the first 80% doing some dmg and curing urself or tanks.
WARs:
For every WAR: if NINs will die should tank insted if one of the nins will die till 20% ultimas assist the other with tanking.
NINs:
For all NINs: straight tanking all the way only at a crisis when mages run out of MP or lots of ppl die we will ask to kite (please dont kite the mob to in the mages way and try to keep it all the time facing wall to minimalize directional dmg). Its nice to use +hp equipment cause ultima can one shot a NIN that has below 1600hp.
RNG:
Hmm ultima is a light based mob i dont know what ammo(bolts or arrows or bulets works the best...)
SMN:
For the first part of fight use Physical BPs, and assist cures, and status cures, when ultima will start using Energy and Mana Screen use Physical or Elemental BPs depending on what shield is up. It would be nice later in the fight below 20% for the avantar to get hate on Citadel Buster so noone beside Avantar would be killed by ultima.
General info:
Getting till 20% ultima hp shouldnt be a problem if everyone will take seriously what i have written and will have reraise all the time up. From this point it will be slower to do dmg and ultima starts using
Citadel Buster i can say its 1hit kill move and its AoE to determine Ultima targets we someone should use this macro(havent decided yet who will it be):

The target can change and it can change abt till the counter starts counting from 10. It would be the best to get out of the room when Ultima starts Citadel Buster and leave only someone with hate inside so ultima wont change target and we have only one casualty and not 2-3 ppl dieing at the same time cause it change target and used draw in a lot.
As we learned from last time it would be the best to use 2hrs before ultima gets below 21% and to try for a fast kill but the only thing is that we need to look out what shield is up so we dont waste 2hrs and its better to use it before u die and are weakend.
Remember when ultima gets 20% have rr gorget/hairpin all the time equiped if u die then first thing u do when u reraise is recast reraise and move out from the room to rest the weakend status. If u a mage try to recast after reraise stonskin and blink.
Medicines:
Reraise hairpin/gorget best a fresh one with lots of charges.
Echo Dropsx12 (everyone that can cast or use mp should have it)
Antidotex12 (everyone should have it so the poison wont kill u)
