Traps napisał(a):
Once a hunter lays a trap it doesn't turn on right away. It's having a 2-3 second delay. Trap's radius has been lowered so this is a big PvP nerf. Once the opposing player sees the hunter trap underthem they have enough time to get outta it and never get affected. I'm fine with the radius nerf and the extra 15 secs on traps, but if it takes 3 ses for it go off, then peopel can just circle the hunter and still do damage while avoiding it. Its worse when fighting casters since even if we stand on our traps, they'll be inour deadzone and won't be effected by it.
What is the point of a trap if someone can just run right over it and it doesn't go off? Doesnt that pretty much kill the intended meaning of a trap? Its bad enough since they changed it so now everyone can see our traps now they have time to get off the traps before they go off when you lay them in combat. Another hunter ability nerfed into uselessness in pvp.
Viper Sting napisał(a):
Why was Viper Sting given a 15 sec cooldown? With so many classes being able to cleanse it or cure it instantly what was the reason for giving it a 15 second cooldown?
All dwarfs can cure it every 2 min. Paladins, Shaman, Druids can cure it instantly. Mages, Priests and Warlocks usually have more mana than hp so its usually more efficient to just try to kill them. Priests being the only one its somewhat efficient against just because they can convert mana into hp.
Basically its forcing most people that want be able to use this in pvp to spec into improved stings. Even with improved stings 30% chance your lucky if it lasts longer than 2 to 3 ticks on a class that can cleanse or cure it.
Was it that overpowered that it needed a 15 second cooldown? Even now that there will be paladins and shaman on both horde and alliance.
