I'm proud to announce some details and features we'll release on April 1st.
Here are four related notes for Wednesday:

- Yggdrasil will be relaunched as an 'Origins' server like the server type announced by Mythic but without removing classes from the realms.

- All classes will have access to current spells and styles from DAoC version 1.97 and will start with Level 50 and RR4.

- PvE on Yggdrasil: Discover the deeps of Darkness Falls, hunt demons and collect seals to improve your equipment besides RvR. (Download the Trailer on http://www.daoc-origins.de ~33MB DivX)

- Accounts & Toons: We're going to delete all 'old' Characters to be sure old and new players on Yggdrasil will start with the same conditions.
We will also implement some bonuses for all current accounts (old accounts) with min. one toon RR5l5 and above.

Items & Stats
There will be three armor- and five weapon-sets availible on Yggdrasil.

Armor
1) A free startup Equipment with basic stats & resists
2) A cheap and easy to get Dragonsworn Set with enhanced stats & some overcaps, resists and proc's
3) The Dragonslayer Set. This set will update your gear to the maximum you can wear on Yggdrasil.

Weapons
1) A basic collection of crafted Weapons and Shields
2) The Dragonsworn Weapons will increase you characters strength and will support him with some bonuses during the fight.
3) Dragonslayer Weapons. Crafted in the Dragons-Forge. These Weapons will give you special abilities for the fight against your enemies.
4) Champions Weapons. A gift for victory during the war and defending your Kings realm. The Blacksmith will create a unique and personal weapon for you. Once.
5) Weapons made by the demons in Darkness Falls. These unique Weapons won't be availible for purchase. Kill the royal Family or beat the Legion to get one of them.

Example (max Stats, Caster):
+22 Dex/Acu (overcap), 8% Castspeed, 5% Damage, 17% Powerpool

All Sets will be availible for Seals, Demon Essence, Bounty Points or Keeplord's Keys.

- Class changes
Paladin
We're going to grant the Paladin a new Spellline called "Blessing" with Heals and supporting Abilities to add a third healing class to the realm of Albion.

Wizard
We're going to add Thornweed Field to the Wizards realm abilities.

Runemaster
We're going to add Thornweed Field to the Runemasters realm abilities.

Valkyrie
We'll adjust the Valkyrie's spec points to give the class two possible ways:
- Healing & Support (Third Healer for Midgard)
- Weapons & Odiin's Will.
We're also removing the following realm abilties from the Valkyrie class:
- Charge
- Ichor of the Deep

- Potions & Charges
The following potions will be availible for Bounty Points:
- Healing, Endurance, Power (Instand and Reg: 3points)
- Base & Spec Buffs (no NPC this time)
- Haste & DamageAdd
- Cure Sickness (5sec cast time, out of combat)
- Speed of the Realm (5sec moving cast, out of combat)

The following potions will be availible for Seals, Demon Essence or Keeplord's Keys:
- Healing, Endurance, Power (Instand and Reg: 4points)
- RP-Buff (additional 2%, 6%, 10%)
- BP-Buff (additional 4%, 8% 12%)
- Campfire (PvE only)

- Keep & Account Bonuses
You'll be able to get additional 100% RPs if your realm owns all four availible Keeps (25%/Keep). Underpopulated realms will get a better keep defense and better keep guards.

"Old" Accounts with one or more rr5+ Characters will be able to visit the Royal Accountant to receive their present (additional 20% RP-Buff, x-Charges, won't drop with Death). The Account will have one present forearch rr5 Character. You'll be able to pick your present in any realm.

DAoC Client Version
You'll be able to connect with the following DAoC Client Versions:
- 1.97 US
- 1.91 EU
You'll have to update some files in both versions to play on Yggdrasil.
We're going to release a small "Yggdrasil Patcher" which automaticly updates all necessary files.

I'm happy to confirm the release date on Wednesday like announced during the past days. The war between Albion, Midgard and Hibernia will start at 8:30 pm (gmt+1) on 1st April.
