Cataclysm is the third expansion for World of Warcraft, the most popular subscription-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game in the world. The first two expansions, The Burning Crusade® and Wrath of the Lich King®, each shattered PC game sales records upon their release. In Cataclysm, the face of Azeroth will be forever altered by the return of the corrupted Dragon Aspect Deathwing. Players will explore once-familiar areas of the world that have now been reshaped by the devastation and filled with new adventures. In an effort to survive the planet-shattering cataclysm, two new playable races -- worgen and goblins -- will join the struggle between the Alliance and the Horde. Git, szkoda, że nie ma tego na zasadzie klucza. Gdybym dostał to bym sprzedał ;p Z tego co pisali, to po prostu Ci, którzy się dostali, będą mieć Cataclysm dodany na stronie battle-netu.

Mam nadzieje ze wow nigdy nie stanie się f2p.

Stanie sie jak tylko blizz wyweszy ze mu zyski na 100% wzrosna.

Tak czy inaczej nie dostalem inwajta. Czuje sie poszkodowany ;/.

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Beta Patch Notes (Build 12319)

Welcome to the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm beta test! Patch notes listed here are not comprehensive and will be changed throughout the testing process.

General


  • The Alliance starting experience for worgen is available. Venture through the cursed lands of Gilneas to discover your true path! Currently the female worgen character is not available for testing.
  • The Horde starting experience for goblins is available. Beginning on the Isle of Kezan in a goblin paradise, players will face a treacherous road ahead!
  • The level cap for all characters is 82.
  • Players may use our Character Copy feature for copying existing characters to beta realms, or may choose from high-level pre-made template characters.


Zones


  • Mount Hyjal and Vashj'ir, two new level 78-82 zones, are available for testing. Players may find their way to these zones by speaking with temporary teleportation NPCs located in any major city.
  • The level ranges of Gilneas and the Lost Isles are in the process of being adjusted slightly. Creature, quest, and quest reward levels are all being altered so that players finish questing in these zones roughly by level 12. Further fine tuning will continue in future content updates.
  • Several zones have had quest maps integrated.
  • Eastern Kingdoms

    • Arathi Highlands, Blasted Lands, Dun Morogh, Duskwood, Elwynn Forest, Loch Modan, Northshire, Westfall, Hinterlands and Redridge Mountains are ready for testing.
    • Stranglethorn Vale (currently Horde only) is available for testing.

  • Kalimdor

    • Most zones in Kalimdor are available for testing, though work continues on polishing the quest experience and flow, as well as zone aesthetics.


Dungeons & Raids


  • Teleportation NPCs in Stormwind, Orgrimmar, and Dalaran can transport players to any available new dungeons, including players who are ghosts.
  • Blackrock Caverns, a new level 79-81 five-player dungeon, is available for testing.
  • Throne of the Tides, a new level 79-81 five-player dungeon, is partially available for testing.


Classes: General


  • Ammo has been removed from the game.
  • The character levels at which classes gain new spells and abilities have changed.
  • The glyph system is in the process of being altered. Existing glyphs may not be fully supported or functional.
  • Many item and class stats have been changed or removed.
  • Rage has been normalized.
  • Spells and abilities no longer have multiple ranks and now scale with character level.
  • Talents trees have changed and are still in the process of being reworked.


Death Knights


  • A dedicated tanking tree has been implemented.
  • The way in which runes recharge has changed.


Druids


  • A new Eclipse mechanic has been added for druids. The feature is functional, but the interface art is still a work in-progress.


Hunters


  • Five pets can now be stored with the hunter at all times. Any one of these five pets can be summoned via the Call Pet ability.
  • Focus has replaced mana as a new resource.
  • Hunters now start with a pet at level 1.
  • The Stable will now store 20 pets. If a pet is moved into the Stable, its talents are wiped.


Warlocks


  • Soul Shards have been removed from the game as items. Instead, they now exist as a resource system necessary for using, or altering the mechanics of certain spells.


User Interface


  • The ability to use third-party addons has been temporarily disabled for the test environment.
  • The Arena Teams pane has been improved.
  • Auto-quests have been added to the game. Players will automatically be given an auto-quest by entering specific areas in the game world. This alert will appear distinctly in the Objectives pane via the Advanced Quest Tracking feature. These quests will still be given to players with full Quest Logs, but will count toward the 25 total allotted quests if the log is not full.
  • The Character pane has been redesigned. Character stats can now be shown or hidden via the Show All Details/Hide All Details button on the bottom left. When shown, all character stats will be visible in a window to the right of the pane. Stat sections can be reorganized by clicking and dragging them up or down the pane.
  • The Professions panes now have more filtering and search functionality, as well as buttons to easily link recipes in the chat frame.
  • Many of the yellow System Messages that would display in the chat frame when leveling up have been removed.
  • New text animations now alert players as they level up, also providing information on when new talents, spells and abilities are available.
  • Professions and Class Trainers windows have been altered to more clearly display available and upcoming purchases.
  • The Spellbook interface has been improved for greater ease-of-use and visual appeal.


Graphics


  • Experimental support for DX11 (can be enabled by passing ‘-d3d11’ on the command line or adding SET gxApi "d3d11" to the Config.WTF file).
  • OpenGL Hardware Cursor support (can be enabled on the Video Resolution Panel).
  • Improved water and lava rendering system (enabled by the Liquid Detail slider on the Video Effects Panel)

    • 0 = Classic Water
    • 1 = New Water (fake reflections)
    • 2 = New Water (ocean has real reflection for terrain)
    • These values are likely to change during Beta.

  • Dynamic Sunshafts effect (enabled by the Sunshafts option on the Video Effects Panel).


Known Issues


  • Selecting high Liquid Detail when using Geforce 6 & 7 series video cards will currently prevent lava and water from rendering properly. You can temporarily restore liquid to the world by reducing the Liquid Detail setting via the Video Effects Panel, or by typing “waterDetail 0” in your Config.WTF file.

Class Changes

Hunter Changes Build 12319
  • Beast Mastery
    • Focus Fire (Talent T6) Consumes your Pets Frenzy effect, restoring 10 focus to your pet and increasing your ranged attack speed by 3% for each Frenzy stack consumed. Lasts for 15 sec. (OLD: This used Kill Command as the hook, now it's its own ability)
  • Marksmanship
    • Aimed Shot (Talent T3) 2.5 Second Cast - 824 to 918 damage. OLD: 3 Second Cast - 1036 to 1156 damage.
    • Sic 'Em (Talent T4) When you critically hit with your Arcane Shot, Kill Command, Aimed Shot or Explosive Shot the focus cost of your Pet's next 2 basic attacks are reduced by 50%/100% for 12 sec.
    • Dazzled Prey (Talent T7) Increases the damage done by your Steady Shot, Arcane Shot and Chimera Shot by 5% on dazed targets.
    • Termination (Talent T8) Your Steady Shot and Cobra Shot abilities grant an additional 3/6 Focus while in Aspect of the Hawk on targets at or below 25% health.
    • Resistance is Futile (Talent T8) When your marked target attempts to run, flee or move, you have a 4%/8%/12% chance to cause your next Kill Command within 8 sec to critically hit on them. OLD: 10%/20%/30%, Steady Shot or Cobra Shot
    • Post Haste (Talent T9) Reduces the cooldown of your Rapif Fire by 1m/1m, and your movement speed is increased by 15%/30% for 4 sec after you use Disengage.
  • Survival
    • Mirrored Blades (Talent T9) When attacked by a spell while in Deterrence, you have a 50%/100% chance to reflect it back at the attacker.

Mage Changes Build 12319
  • Arcane
    • Improved Arcane Missiles (Talent T1) Increases the damage caused by your Arcane Missiles spell by 3%/6%/9%.
    • Arcane Meditation (Talent T4) You regenerate 1%/2%/3% of your maximum mana every 5 sec.
    • Torment the Weak (Talent T4) Your Frostbolt, Fireball, Frostfire Bolt, Pyroblast, Arcane Missiles, Arcane Blast, and Arcane Barrage abilities deal 2%/4%/6% more damage to snared or slowed targets.
    • Missile Barrage (Talent T9) Gives your Arcane Barrage a 20%/40%/60%/80%/100% chance, your Arcane Blast a 8%/16%/24%/32%/40% chance, and your Fireball, Frostbolt, and Frostfire Bolt spells a 4%/8%/12%/16%/20% chance to reduce the channeled duration of the next Arcane Missiles spell by 1.5 secs and missiles will fire every .5 secs.
    • Arcane Barrage (Talent T11) Launches serveral missiles at the enemy target, causing 1125 to 1373 Arcane damage. Casting Arcane Barrage does not consume the effect of Arcane Blast.
  • Fire
    • Incineration (Talent T1) Increases the critical strike chance of your Fire Blast, Scorch, Arcane Missiles and Cone of Cold spells by 3%/6%/9%. (OLD: 2%/4%/6%)
    • World in Flames (Talent T2) Increases the critical strike chance of your Flamestrike, Pyroblast, Blast Wave, Dragon's Breath, Living Bomb, Blizzard and Arcane Explosion spells by 3%/6%/9%. (OLD: 2%/4%/6%)
    • Burning Soul (Talent T2) Reduces the pushback suffered from damaging attacks while casting Fire spells by 35%/??%. (OLD: Used to reduce threat as well)
    • Molten Shields (Talent T4) Causes your Mage Ward spell to have a 15%/30% chance to reflect the warded spell while active. In addition, your Molten Armor has a 50%100% chance to affect ranged and spell attacks. (OLD: Fire Ward & Frost Ward)
    • Critical Mass (Talent T5) Increases the damage done by your Fireball, Frostfire Bolt, and Pyroblast by 1%/2%/3% Fire damage over time effect on the target up to a Maximum of 3%/6%/9%. (OLD: Increases Fire spell crit chance by 2/4/6%)
    • Playing with Fire (Talent T5) Reduces the remaining cooldown on your Blast Wave spell by 2s/4s/6c when you are struck by a melee atack. This effect cannot occur more than once every 1.5 secs. (OLD: Increased spell damage caused and taken by 1/2/3%)
    • Burning Determination (Talent T5) You regenerate 1%/2%/3% of your maximum mana every 5 sec.
    • Pyromaniac (Talent T7) Increases spell haste by 5%/10%/15% if 3 or more targets are taking Fire damage over time from your spells. (OLD: Increased crit and mana regeneration rate)
    • Hot Streak (Talent T9) Your Fire spells no longer trigger Arcane Missiles. Instead, any time you score 2 non-periodic spell criticals within 4 sec of each other using Fireball, Fire Blast, Scorch, Living Bomb, or Frostfire Bolt, you have a 33%/66%/100% chance the next Pyroblast spell cast within 10 sec will be instant cast.
  • Frost
    • Piercing Chill (Talent T3) Your Frostbolt criticals apply the chill effect to 1/2 additional nearby targets.
    • Frost Channeling (Talent T4) Reduces the mana cost of all spells by 4%/7%/10% (OLD: Also reduced threat)
    • Shatter (Talent T4) Increases the damage of all your spells against frozen targets by 5%/10%/15% (OLD: 17%/34%/50%)
    • Empowered Frost (Talent T8) Increases the bonus from spell power on your Frostbolt, Frostfire Bolt, and Ice Lance spells by 7%/13%/20%. (OLD: 5%/10%/15%)

Paladin Changes Build 12319

This is no where near complete right now, manual labor sucks
  • Holy
    • Divine Intellect (Talent T2) Increases your total Intellect and Spirit by 1%/2%/3%/4%/5%
    • Sanctified Light (Talent T4) Increases the critical effect chance of your Judgements and Holy Shock by 5%/10%/15%
    • Improved Holy Light (Talent T4) Decreases the cast time of your Holy Light by 0.2s/0.4s/0.6s/0.8s/1.0s
    • Divine Light (Talent T5) Heals a friendly target for 0 to 1
    • Aura Mastery (Talent T7) Just moved tiers Causes your Concentration Aura to make all affected targets immune to Silence and Interrupt effects and improve the effect of all other auras by 100%. Lasts 6 sec.
    • Improved Holy Shock (Talent T7) Reduces the mana cost of your Holy Shock Spell by 35%/70%
    • Beacon of Light (Talent T11) The target becomes a Beacon of Light to all members of your party or raid within a 60 yard radius. Each Holy Light or Holy Shock you cast on party or raid members will also heal the Beacon for 100% of the amount healed. Only one target can be the Beacon of Light at one time. Lasts 1 minute.
  • Protection
    • Sanctuary (Talent T5) Reduces damage taken from all sources by 3% and when you block, parry, or dodge a melee attack you will gain 2% of maximum mana.
    • Holy Shield (Talent T7) Reduces the chance you'll be critically hit by melee attacks by 6%, increases chance to block by 5%, and deals 294 Holy damage for each attack blocked while active.
  • Retribution
    • None Sorry Tural
